This web site is managed by Natalie Newton, Ph.D., Inc., and  Russell Davis, Director of Instruction, Cherokee Town and Country Club, Atlanta, Georgia.
A licensed psychologist and former elite athlete, Dr. Newton has worked internationally with professional athletes for 21 years. She has appeared on "Today," "Good Morning America," "Good Morning Australia," "The Wide World of Sports," and numerous other television and radio shows.  Mr. Davis is a PGA Professional with over 40 PGA sanctioned tournament titles. He is a three time PGA Section Teacher of the Year!    Dr. Newton and Mr. Davis were born in North Carolina where they swear that babies still exit the womb with a small set of starter clubs.

A renowned sports psychologist and award winning writer, her travel and assignments have taken her to eighteen countries. In 1986, sponsored by the Australian Government and major corporations, she was the first woman to cycle across Australia, making the solo ride on behalf of the Freedom From Hunger Campaign. She has held senior management positions in the USA and abroad. Originally from North Carolina, Dr. Newton maintains a psychology practice near Atlanta, Georgia.

Organizational Rates

Sports psychology for elite/professional athletes OR personal coaching for professionals:  Initial session is two hours long and the fee is $350.  The initial session is recommended to be at Dr. Newton's office.  Longer sessions available upon request as many clients are from out of town.  Sessions thereafter are billed at $350 per hour and may be in the office or by telephone.

Please note that Dr. Newton is only contracted with insurance companies as a clinical provider for "medically necessary" treatment.  Coaching and sports psychology are not covered by her insurance provider contracts and must be paid out of pocket.
