A renowned sports psychologist and award winning writer, her travel and assignments have taken her to eighteen countries. In 1986, sponsored by the Australian Government and major corporations, she was the first woman to cycle across Australia, making the solo ride on behalf of the Freedom From Hunger Campaign. Organizational Rates
Sports psychology for elite/professional athletes OR personal coaching for professionals: Initial session is two hours long and the fee is $350. The initial session is recommended to be at Dr. Newton's office. Longer sessions available upon request as many clients are from out of town. Sessions thereafter are billed at $350 per hour and may be in the office or by telephone.
Please note that Dr. Newton is only contracted with insurance companies as a clinical provider for "medically necessary" treatment. Coaching and sports psychology are not covered by her insurance provider contracts and must be paid out of pocket.
